Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 268, Niagara County, Presents "Our Photo Album

Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Chapter 268 was organized on June 26, 1986 in Niagara County, New York as a Chapter of the National VVA, which was founded in 1978.  This is a non-profit, all volunteer corporation that is committed to serving the needs of all veterans.

One of the most significant accomplishments of tis Chapter is the "Our Phot Album" exhibit.  Created and first displayed at the Kenan Center in 1990, with member Walter Moxham leading the program.  The exhibit features images shot by local soldiers taken during their tours of duty that give a very personal perspective of what it was like in Vietnam in 1960's and 1970's.  "Our Photo Album" began with about 150 photos and has grown to almost 500 framed photos.  The show has traveled throughout New York State and Southern Ontario and was even featured on the CBS Morning News.  We brought the exhibit back to the Kenan Center in 2015 for its 25th Anniversary.

In 2023, with our membership in their 70's and 80's, we decided to produce a digital version of the photo album.  Our goal was to preserve this collection for future generations.  On behalf of the Niagara County Veterans Chapter 268, we hope you enjoy "Our Photo Album."
