Public Health Nursing and Preventive Services

The Niagara County Department of Health has delivered professional public health nursing services to Niagara County residents since 1965. The Nursing Division's objectives are to advance community health and wellness and implement comprehensive, evidence-based disease prevention strategies. These efforts include the operation of immunization, sexual health, and tuberculosis clinics, as well as the administration of programs in Lead, Tuberculosis, Sexual Health, Communicable Disease, Immunization, Rabies, and STI community surveillance.
