Program Services are provided to all criminal courts in Niagara County.
The goal of Niagara County Pretrial Services is to reduce incarceration in the Niagara County Jail by providing individuals involved in criminal court the opportunity to participate in pretrial release supervision. The program will also attempt to influence a reduction in recidivism rates by avoiding the unnecessary use of pretrial detention for individuals that can be safely managed in the community with the aid of case-management services.
