OFA Case Manager Discusses Elder Abuse

June is recognized as Elder Abuse Awareness month across the country.  Krystle Steen, a case manager with the Niagara County Office of the Aging, discussed her department’s efforts to combat elder abuse during a meeting of the County Legislature, including how this abuse can take many forms, such as physical violence, emotional abuse, neglect, abandonment and financial exploitation.
