Niagara County Golf Course to Close for Season

Niagara County Public Works Commissioner Garret Meal today announced that the Niagara County Golf Course will close for the season today. Meal said the closure was based on both current weather conditions and the future outlook that does not show any improvements in conditions.
“The season will end the way it started, which is dealing with wet weather,” said Meal. “We had hoped to stay open a little longer, but given weather conditions, it is time to close.”
“We do want to thank all our patrons and golfers for both their support and their patience as we dealt with some crazy weather throughout the season,” said Meal. “Thankfully, we had a nice fall and people took advantage of that. We also appreciate all of the kind words from those who really enjoyed the improvements and upgrades to the course over the last couple of years. We will continue to look for ways to enhance the experience while maintaining the course’s affordability.”
