Lockport DMV Honored by Donate Life NYS

Below is video from today’s press conference hosted by Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski.  The Lockport Office of the Niagara County DMV was honored by Donate Life New York State with their Rising Star award.  This new award recognizes a county-operated DMV office with the greatest one-year increase in its donor registration rate (DDR) during Donate Life Month. Lockport DMV’s DDR increased a remarkable 32.89 percent (April 2023 as compared to April 2024).  The award was presented by Donate Life NYS volunteer Jim Foti Jr., who received a heart transplant three years ago.  Mr. Foti congratulated Niagara County for having 68 percent of eligible residents signed up to be donors, far above the New York State average.  To learn more about becoming a donor visit https://donatelife.ny.gov/
