Chairman Wydysh Welcomes LYNC Students to Niagara County Legislature Chamber
Niagara County Legislature Chairman Rebecca Wydysh addressed about 35 high schools students from the LYNC program (Leadership for the Youth of Niagara Communities) in the Legislative Chambers. LYNC is program run by Leadership Niagara and today's event was put together by Leadership Niagara President and CEO Liz Zulawski. Chairman Wydysh discussed the structure of the Legislature, the many functions of county government and how important it is for citizens to take part in their government, noting that she never envisioned herself running for office. LYNC divides their program into 2 sections, so another group of students will visit the Legislature next week.
