Legislator Mike Hill Celebrates Huey Helicopter Placement at Hartland Veterans Memorial

Statement from Legislator Mike  Hill

“The placement of the Huey Helicopter on the pedestal as part of our Veterans Memorial is a tremendous milestone.   I commend all of those, led by Scott Wymyczak, Commander of the Gasport American Legion Memorial Post 1253, who have worked so hard on this project.  The memorial will ensure that the contributions of our local heroes will always be remembered and will provide a great gathering space to honor those contributions.”

Hill secured $25,000 for the memorial through the county’s Community Partnership program.
