Niagara County Recognizes National Foster Care Month

Niagara County Legislator Jesse Gooch presented a proclamation to the Department of Social Services in honor of National Foster Care Month.  National Foster Care Month is observed in May and is a time to raise awareness about the needs of children and youth in foster care and to celebrate the contributions of foster families, caregivers, and others who support them. It also highlights the importance of finding permanent homes and connections for these children and youth.
