Niagara County to Hold Career Fair at Day Road Park

The Niagara County Department of Employment and Training will be holding its next career fair on Wednesday, August 6 at Day Road Park in Lockport.  Don Jablonksi, Director of Employment and Training said more than 70 companies have signed up to participate.  The career fair is open to everyone and no appointments or pre-registration are necessary.

“These career fairs are all about connecting job seekers with employers who have open positions,” said Jablonski.  “Plus, our WorkSource1 team is always on hand to provide job seekers with services like resume writing and interview prep, to aid in their job search.”

The event will be held from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Day Road Park, located at 5014 Day Road in Lockport.  In the event of rain, the event will be held on August 13.

“Employers taking part are looking to fill a wide spectrum of positions with varying levels of experience and are willing to provide significant training,” said Jablonski.  “The only way to find out if the right opportunity is waiting for you is to show up at Day Road Park next week and participate in the career fair.”
