New York State Implements Temporary Statewide Burn Ban

Governor Hochul has implemented a statewide burn ban in effect starting today, October 2 due to increased fire risk and continued dry conditions. The burn ban will be in effect for 14 days, from October 2 to October 15, and will be reevaluated prior to expiration.
